About me
Agata Manowska is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Warsaw School of Arts. An interdisciplinary artist, she combines performative, educational, and curatorial practices. At the Higher School of Art, she has for many years led her own studio dedicated to theatrical and film make-up techniques, and she develops curricula in costume design and visual arts. As an artist and educator, she has played a key role in shaping the school’s artistic profile and academic programs.

My photographs and films are more than documentation — they are digital traces of my personal way of perceiving natural phenomena. The moment of capture is intuitive, beyond the mind — fully attuned to the heart and soul.
In my perception, the Earth speaks its own language — through natural codes, rhythms, and pulses.
Noticing rhythms, signs, and connections brings me into a subtle dimension of sensing. It is a continuous discovery of the living presence of the world, which speaks to me through images.I invite you into my way of perceiving the world.
